A lot has happened over the last years to us and our family. Luckily Kenji pulled through after being in the car accident that killed his wife. He moved to his old house with his children Ken and Emi, but after having been there for 4 months, he decided he didn't want to live there anymore, because everything kept reminding him of his wife and he felt he had to move on. He also couldn't cope properly with combining his owrk and taking care of the children. We all decided to 'combine forces' and help each other. We sold our house and Kenji sold his and we bought a very big house to live in all together. Ken and Emi were really happy with this because they had missed living with us and being around the other children.
Now it's even better that we are living in a bigger house, because we've adopted two little boys! A two-and-a-half year old from China and a newborn from Guatamala. The Chinese boy didn't have a name yet, so we named him Tai Kenji Edur. Tai is a chinese name and I love the sound of it, Kenji after Taro's brother (and the meaning is appropriate as well), and Edur means snow, which is because he looks a bit like a snowy boy. The baby was called Hans Alexander, but we decided to change his name, because Taro wanted something Japanese, like always, and I didn't like Hans. SO we named him: Saburo Jowan Alexander "Sabby". Saburo because he's our third son, Sabby because I think it's very cute and to honour my uncle Sebby (Sebastiaan), Jowan is a variant of Hans and Alexander because that was his name already and we love it. They're both doing fine :)
