[Opinions] Angelica
I've been thinking a lot about Angelica lately. I love that it's baroque (and botanical!) but not unapproachable, and I find it infinitely more sophisticated than Angelina. What do you all think?

Angelica Sabina
Angelica Simona / Simonetta
Angelica Verena
Angelica Venetia

I agree with your assessment.
I like Angelica Sofonisba and Angelica Orazia most.
Then Angelica Rosa, Angelica Honorata, Angelica Sybil, Angelica Verena, Angelica Maurizia, Angelica Teresa.
Angelica Europa would be interesting to see though is more flamboyantly weird than the others imo.
Angelica Deepti
Angelica Vashti
Angelica Deborah
Angelica Dorothea
Angelica Drusilla
Angelica Dervla*
Angelica Barbara*
Angelica Virva
Angelica Remedios
Angelica Justina
Angelica Gardenia
Angelica Roshanara

I don't care for association of Rugrats because I heard this character with this name. I think it's so beautiful.
I love Angelica! It reminds me of the character / real life historical figure from Hamilton, who I love.
I like its delicate feel. I also like Angelique but Angelica has all the sentiment for me.
I dislike Angelina and Angela, which are way too common. Oh but I do like Angeline! Angelica is still my favorite of all of these.
I didn’t know there was a botanical connection - will have to Google!

Angelica is my least favorite Angel names, probably because I grew up with Rugrats. I like Angelina best. Out of these, I don’t really like most of the middle names at all and some of the names I do like, I just don’t think goes well. I think it needs something kind of short and not another A beginning or end. Angelica Edith or Angelica Thisbe.
I love Angelica, I think it's covertly witchy. There's something very earthy about it - I think of herbal teas and handmade soaps. But then it also has a cold porcelain gloss to it. I do appreciate it for its art connections (Angelika Kauffman) so for that reason part of me wants to combo it with other great artist's names. I like your Angelica Sofonisba, and offer Angelica Rosalba, Angelica Artemisia, Angelica Lavinia, Angelica Pulisena, and Angelica Plautilla.
Angelica Sibyl is the perfect combination of ancient and suburban, I love that one. Angelica Myrtle and Angelica Enid are fantastic for that too.

It's all right, but I think Angelina is prettier and less hard-edge. I like Angelique better too, but it's definitely colder and harder. Angelica is tricky to pull off without sounding like trying too hard. A lot of your combos sound like names nuns might choose for themselves. Best to go with simple two or one-syllable middle names.
Also, the angel names run the risk of sounding like the opposite. There is a reason Angelica is the name of the worst-behaved Rugrat.

I said that I love its baroqueness, so the nun-like combos are intended to be nun-like.
While you’ve been thinking of Angelica, I’ve been thinking of Angelina. Both Angelina and Angelica are gorgeously beautiful names. My mom was thinking of naming me Angelica. I would’ve loved that. I like Angelica’s aura. It reminds me of the sky for some reason. Maybe a nice sunrise. Very refreshing, and exciting name with some history.
I like angel-names. I find them kitschy, but in a good way. I think of Victorian times, Christmas trees, lights, glittery postcards with angels on them, hearts, valentine's day.
So they Angel-part is nice. I dislike -ica. In pretty much everything: Jessica, Annika, Erika, Erica, Monica, Angelica.
That's why I am not fond of it. I do like Angelina and if it weren't for Angelina Jolie I might use it. Angela is too dated for me but I do like Angeline and just plain Angel.
Myrtle is cute. Not Niobe, all of her kids died, way too sad.
