There is a difference between requesting and policing

She didn't seem to be policing. For anyone else who was curious, the name could be an onomatopoeia of a clinking bracelet or bangle.

I believe Wordsmith was simply hooked on their tone due to the very strong, impolite wording they tend to use. Nothing against them, of course.
