I've come to really admire
Veronica in the last several years. I'd use the nn Nicki and was actually surprised when I looked up the meaning of
Veronica. It's etymologically related to
Nike >
Nicole so Nicki works for me. I've seen Nica used as well yet I only like it when the i has a long e sound. Otherwise, Nica with the short i sound doesn't sound as pleasant to me.
Vera is just all right, however,
Roni doesn't appeal to me at all.

Veronica with a mn before. It's not easy. I think I prefer
Juliet,
Laurel, and
