[Opinions] Re: Bananas
I LOVE Hosanna. I think it's such a pretty and joyous name.So Josanna is Hispanic-Hosanna? I would assume it was with a hard J if I saw it, and my second thought would probably be YO-sanna over HO-sanna. Also... I assume in Josanna then the end would be pronounced AHna, not like Anna. I don't like that, I prefer the Anna sound.Anneliese is nice. Annica looks funny to me, I wouldn't be sure how to say it if I saw it. Annika is fairly common in my area, so I'd expect it to be spelled that way. I think it's an ok name, but I'm not a big fan.I love just plain Anne, and I even more love Annemarie. It was one of our daughter's "back-up" names. Do you could Johanna as an Anna name? I think that's really pretty too. Also Joanna.Joscelind is nice. I'm not sure if I like or dislike the d on it though.

I LOVE Hosanna too, but can't get dh on board. He said once that he'd like it if it was spelled with a "J" instead. My instinct on the prn of Josanna, though, is the same as yours, but I thought I'd get other opinions, too.
I like the Annica spelling because it would incorporate the "ica" in my name.
Dh does not like Johanna :(As far a Joscelind, the d on the end would be a nod to Leland (sort of a Jessica + Leland thing)
