Hailey Kaitlyn is 15 years old and comes from Cleveland, Ohio. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She is a very kind and thoughtful girl, although very shy. She is obese and this has resulted in a diagnosis of Type II diabetes, which will need to be treated and monitored. She likes school very much and excels particularly well in math and physics. She wants to be an electrical engineer when she grows up. Her favorite foods include french fries with ketchup, cinnamon toast, and blueberry muffins. She likes animals, especially large dogs. She has been raised Presbyterian, but is not particularly religious. Her hobbies include reading books, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
Justin Roy is 14 years old and comes from Galveston, Texas. He has brown hair and green eyes. He is a very outgoing and energetic child with moderate ADHD. He is very creative and wants to be a movie director when he gets older. He makes friends easily and is well-liked by his teachers at school. His favorite school subjects are anything to do with science. He is a good football player and wants to play on the varsity team when he starts high school this year. He has been raised in a Catholic family and his faith is important to him. He speaks English and conversational Spanish. He loves eating any kind of meat, especially spicy sausage and barbecue. His brother Andrew is 19 years old and attending college at the University of Denver. Justin would like to remain in contact with him.
Leanna Valerie is 9 years old and comes from Calgary, Alberta. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She speaks both English and German. Her family was Lutheran, and she would like to continue to attend services. She is blind, but gets along perfectly well anywhere there is Braille. Her favorite foods are lasagna and pizza. She is a very funny child and loves to tell and listen to jokes. She wants to be a journalist when she gets older, as she loves to write and talk with people. She loves cats and birds, but not dogs. She loves to listen to any kind of music, especially country. She plays guitar exceptionally well for her age and also writes music. She is looking forward to having siblings again; her family was killed in a plane crash and she misses them terribly. She would like to visit their gravesites once a year, if it's possible.
