[Opinions] Re: Briana

1. I like Briana just fine. It has a fine sound and looks nice written down. Personally, I don't understand why many on name forums despise this name. Yes, it is trendy, however, it's a legit form of a masculine name as are Alexandra, Charlotte, Danielle, Nicole, etc.
2. bree-AH-na
3. Briana then Brianna
4. bree-ANN-a unless corrected -- have heard both for different spellings
5. Brianne is okay; I prefer Briana or Brianna.
6. I really dislike any of them spelled with Bree or Brea. After all, Brian isn't spelled with an e or ea and this name is the feminine form of that (just a pet peeve of mine).
7. I do view Briana as more classic and original.
8. It's still pretty common although I haven't known but a handful in my life. There's only two pronunciations and the most common spelling where I live (VA) is Brianna so it doesn't seem that problematic to me. Brianna / Briana / Breanna will fade one day. In fact, I believe it already has somewhat. Will it appear dated one day? I think it already seems dated to me.
