[Opinions] Re: Briana
in reply to a message by Lily8
1) I think it's very trendy. I also think of French cheese. Any child with a food-affiliated name is just not good.2) "bree-AHH-nuh"3) There are many versions of the name, which is why I dislike it. It has been corrupted in the name of making it "original". I guess I like Brianna the best.4) I pronounce the "ana"s like "AH-uh" and the "anna"s like "ANN-uh".5) No, I don't like it. And I pronounce it "bree-anne".6) I think the various spellings have been corrupted, just like Brianna.7) Yes, I see all of them as trendy.8) They will always be misspelled and mispronounced, because there are so many versions. That is what people get for wanting to be "kre8tyf". The names will not remain popular for long, because trends do not last for long. For example, Brianna was #22 in the US this past year, but never appeared in the top names before the 70s. Maybe in thirty years it will be usable again!YOU'RE WELCOME
