I've always liked it - one of my favourite combos when I was going through a Scotophile stage was Isobel Mary Elspeth.
Bridget Elspeth is lovely.
In which AoGG book was there an Elspeth? I can't remember and I *hate* not being able to remember things! :-D

I've got the whole series sitting next to my computer :-D - I've been slowly working on three fanfic books to come after Rilla of Ingleside.
That'd be Anne of Windy Willows that you're thinking of - one of the characters is the little girl Elizabeth who calls herself all sorts of nicknames, maybe Elspeth was one of them. I might have to re-read them too! :-)
