I've encountered
Laura and
Lauren but never a
Laurel. Of the three,
Laura is my favorite but
Laurel is a close second, far nicer than
Lauren, in my opinion. Not only does
Laurel bring lovely green leafy imagery to mind but, from traditional use of laurel wreaths, I also associate "excellence" with
Laurel; in fact, I tend to think of it as sort of an honorary virtue name.
Of your combinations, I best like
Laurel Vivienne for sound, flow and feel, and I enjoy like the "excellence alive" association I get from it. I also like
Laurel Caris and
Laurel Cosette. For me,
Finley is masculine and the others are a bit too "l" heavy, though I do like the feel of
Elise with
Laurel.
