Hmm but it doesn't have a long history. Also it sounds very trendy. Kind of like
Kyra which isn't really popular by itself but includes the common KY sound or something like
Kaylyn which isn't actually common either but sounds trendy. Also I think when you combine spellings
Janae ranks higher. Just looked it up, it's at #403, spellings combined.
Not that I have anything against it, it's nice. But it has rather trendy sounds, the
JAY sound (as in
Jayden,
Jade,
Jada etc), the AY sound (as in
Kaylee,
Hayley,
Taylor etc). I guess another good example is Jaycee which is uncommon but trendy sounding.
Janaya is #140, when you combine spellings.
