Help[Opinions] I love Nate too! I've been thinking about it...

and although I too am not that fond of Nathan or Nathaniel, I couldn't see myself using just Nate. It does seem like a nickname to me.
I would probably go with Nathaniel. Even though I like the name Nathan better, I have a bad association with it.
