I love both names, but I get a different vibe from each of them.
Cosimo is a funky, retro-chic, artsy kind of name. Cosima, on the other hand, gives me the image of a sophisticated, cool goddess.
I pronounce them differently. Perhaps that's the difference. I should pronounce them more alike, I know. Anyway, for what it's worth I pronounce Cosimo as "COZ-i-mo" whereas Cosima is "CO-see-muh."
