I find Frederick quite handsome but I dislike both Fred and Freddie. They make me think of Freddo frogs (a popular chocolate for kids here) and too many dogs I know are named Fred or Freddie. Both just sound so dopey.

I think it will come back eventually but it isn't quite ready yet. I think a lot of people still see Fred as an old man name.
