King Maximilian IV and Queen Katerina welcome a son, a younger brother for Princess Augusta!
King: Maximilian Tiberius Ivan Lothair IV (22)
Queen: Katerina Rosamund Beatrix (20)

The birth of a male heir should have been joyous, but instead the royal family finds itself subject to pity more than congratulations. Complications with the birth have temporarily confined Queen Katerina to bed and placed her future ability to give birth in doubt. In Belhollow, large royal families are the tradition—King Maximilian himself was the oldest of eleven. However, the infant, Cassius, is healthy and happy, if a bit small for his age. The Queen is expected to make a full recovery, and in the meantime little Cassius is in the care of nurses.
