* Use the personal name banks provided to name your new child. You can also mix and match using names you used for your king and queen.
* Spelling changes are NOT allowed for this round.
* It's not required, but it would be fun if you could write a short story about your family. They're always fun to read. I've provided an optional prompt below.
* Don’t get too attached to any single member of your family, because you never know when I might decide to kill one off…

From the minute Phi went into labour, the doctors new something was wrong. Effy was breech and they had to perform an emergency c-section on Phi. Later it was found that she had some cysts and that her woumb suffered some lesions. It is still uncertain if she may carry a child again.
Luka is absolutely torn: on one side, he has his new baby, his first princess. On the other, his beloved wife, suffering. He still needs to deal with the pressure of the council and the people's morbid curiosity. Gerard seems to be the only one who can still smile, he's too young to understand how ill his mother is and he loves to look at Effy and sing to her.

It was another three years before William and Aurelia had another child. At one point, the king actually considered amending the Umbresian constitution to allow females to inherit the Crown, so that the throne might stay within the control of the Courfeyrac family through his daughter Sofia. The whole kingdom celebrated the arrival of the Crown Prince with a lavish parade and feast. When James assumes the Crown after William, he will be known as King James IX.
