[Opinions] No kidding.
Have you noticed that everyone here is a lot nicer than you are? And that most of our opinions are a lot more articulated and thought-out than yours? I really do not understand why you come here at all, you don't care a whit about anyone else's reasoning behind the names they like. I think your style's a bit cold, personally, but that doesn't mean it's not extremely successful at being "a bit cold," so I enjoy it anyway. Names for you are "tasteful" or "asinine." That is not helpful to anyone. Also, being closed-minded is really boring. I tried it. It's so much better here on the sensible side of the fence.Viatrix is very medical looking and sounding. I have always thought Beatrix was a bit ugly and mechanical. Viatrice is interesting though.ETA: looking at Beatrix's page. Viatora is also pretty neat!

Hey now, in my defense, I have been more elaborate than simply stating tasteful and/or asinine. It's just that I don't feel all names deserve an elaborate answer. I think I'll continue exercising my prerogatives. It is against the rules to disrespect my honest opnions though, whatever the tone or presentation. Don't think for a moment that I will soften my writing style just because a few ornery girls happen to retract their claws at any random moment for no accountable reason other than the fact that they're addicted to spouting invective. :)

That's the thing, though.Somebody out there thinks the names are "deserving" enough to post about. If you're going to prove them wrong, you need to use a lot of words to do it. I don't have to tell you about all the reasons Theodora's great - you already know them. But if somebody loves something like Dakota, you have to spell out why it's bad, and you have to do it politely so they'll listen. In that way, their taste might change for the better. If you say "asinine" they will get mad and become more attached to their naymes. It is not an effective way of education. It makes you seem wrong even if you're right, and it doesn't make anyone change their minds or think harder. That's why I said it was strange that you posted at all - why would you say something like "asinine" without explaining why? the other party obviously doesn't know. People here actually are interested in opinions, generally, but not unhelpful onces.Whatever, I don't care.

I will make an effort to be more thorough in my explanations.
