[Opinions] Bill and Ben are also the twins in Thomas The Tank Engine (m)

So that's two kiddies programmes that are going to haunt them for the rest of their lives :)
I wonder how long it will take them when they're older to be sick of people saying 'flobadob' to them.
Mind you, at least it isn't Twinky-Winky & Dipsy or something :)
William and Benjamin are a lovely sibset though. Maybe reversed, Benjamin and William, would be better. Peter and Benjamin are as well but that isn't as noticable to me.

I'm not sure
It's been on in the background but I haven't paid much attention to it.
Most of my experience of Bill and Ben come from watching those TV nostalgia shows that keep cropping up on BBC. Any reference to Bill and Ben tend to lead to my mother (and sometimes my father) saying 'Flobadob!' 'WEEEEEEEED!!' a few times :D
In fact that whole TV nostalgia area is a minefield. Brings forth a whole range of catchphrases from programmes and adverts from my mother. :) I wonder if in 40 years time seeing programmes about Little Britain, Catherine Tate etc will make me come out with things like 'Want that one' and 'Am I bovvered?' to embarrass my children with? :)
