Name the Next Baby: Extended Family Round 2

This version of Name the Next Baby will follow two families through the birth of their children and then later their grandchildren. There are no sign-ups; you can play as many or as few rounds as you want. I will be awarding points however. Every name that you submit that gets chosen will receive one point and at the end of the game the person with the most points will be the winner. I’ll try to post a new round every two to three days.

Daniel and Maggie are proud to announce that they are expecting their second child, another boy. They’d like to use Maggie’s maiden name, Clayton, in some way. They also want to honor their heritages by using a Biblical, Hebrew, or Irish name that isn’t very popular as either the first or middle name.

Colin and Helene already have a three-year-old daughter, Sophie, and now they are expecting twins, a boy and a girl. For their baby boy, they want a first name that can work in both America and France. For their little girl, they’d like a first name with a cute nickname that can be used in both America and France as well. They’d also like to somehow honor Helene’s parents, Georges and Lisette, and Colin’s father, Frances “Frank”.
