Dear Brooks Family,
We have found three children that we think will fit in wonderfully with your family. Their names are Shamira Eidel, from Israel; Ottaviano Bertoldo and Marco Giampiero, from Italy. Shamira's parents did not want her, as they were not married when she was born. Otto and Marco have been together for as long as anyone can remember. They are both fifteen, but not related.
Shamira Eidel is a four year old girl from Israel. She is Jewish, and has prominent Jewish features. Shamira likes to sing and dance. Her favorite thing to do is play with her stuffed animals. She is ready for preschool and will easily make friends.
Otto is a fifteen year old boy from Italy. He and his friend Marco came to the orphanage around the same time and have been inseperable ever since. Otto enjoys painting, scuplting, and writing. He also likes track & field.
Marco is a fifteen year old boy from Italy. He and his friend Otto came to the orphanage around the same time and have been inseperable ever since. Marco likes sports--especially swimming, water polo, and lacrosse. He is also fond of cooking (but don't tell anyone; it isn't manly for a teenage boy to cook).

Shamira is such a pleasant and polite little girl. It is so nice to have a little girl around again. She started preschool 2 weeks ago and is doing great. Her teachers have told us she is quite gifted for a 4 year old.
Otto is doing well. He has been chasing girls since he got here lol. He has started taking art classes at the local art gallery and is hoping that he will be good enough to make a living from his art one day.
Tina and Marco have become very close friends and he adores Kai. They are often teased about being in love but they don't feel that way about each other, they are just friends. Marco has started teaching Kai to swim. He also cooked us a beautiful meal his first night with us but has since been too afraid to cook again in case someone finds out his secret love lol.
