Congrats Richardson family! You have been blessed with...Zoya (13), Marriana and Adrian (5) are siblings from Russia. After Marriana and Adrian were born, their parents died. Zoya has literally raised them on her own from the time they were only six months old. Now a little older Marriana and Adrian both enjoy plaing around with animals. They have adopted a stray dog they named Afanasy. Zoya is a motherly little creature, but she is so mature because of what she has been through that, she doesn't know how to have fun. We hope that she will "lighten up" a little bit when she is adopted.Ayla and Yonca are twin sisters from Turkey. They were put up for adoptions when they were born because Yonca is Blind and Ayla has Autisim. Now seven years old, they cling to each other and have a hard time going anywhere with anybody they don't know. Yonca though blind enjoys weaving random patterns on a loom. She will sell them and has saved up enough money to buy herself a little harp that she enjoys playing. PLEASE let us know how they are doing!

The 5 new additions are are very happy in our house. We have allowed Zoya to choose a middle name for herself and her siblings. She named herself Zoya Faith. Her brother and sister are Marriana Hope and Adrian Joseph. Faith and Hope are important to her and she chose Joseph because he was Jesus' earthly father. We enrolled Zoya in an after school program so she could find friends her own age and not have to worry about Marriana and Adrian. It is still hard for her, but she is learning slowly that she can ease up.Ayla and Yonca are thriving at our home, which is now decorated with weaving projects. We gave Yonca and Ayla harps for Christmas. Yonca plays well. Ayla loves to play as well. It turns out she is a bit of autistic savant in her and she is doing very well at the harp.Thank you for our new children!
