Eight~Surnames~
Vernon ~House Names~
Vernon Castle
Names:
Dr. Basil Edward Godfrey Vernon and Esther Harriet Susanna Vernon
begat:dd: Anna Catherine Louisa (17) Little more than plain in appearance, her out-going personality more than makes up for it. Several young men are wooing her, but she's holding them off as the one she truly wants has just began to notice her. She admires strong women and wishes to explore and travel. You can often find her along the river bank fishing, as she dreams of adventure.twin boys: Edgar Lewis James (16) Handsome in appearance and identical to his twin, he is sorely disappointed his brother does not share his love of baseball. Fortunately, some of his siblings do share his passion, and he often trys recruit the others (plus father) for a game. George Henry Lewis (16)He is more introverted than his twin. George prefers playing duets on the piano with his mother and/or brother, rather than running around in the hot sun. He resents his brother badgering him to play; but admits he has fun when he does.DS: Charles Walter Fitzwilliam (12) A gangly youth, gifted in music, he plans to someday be a concert pianist. His rapid growth spurts, however, have made playing awkward. He burns off his frustration and energy playing baseball with his siblings.DD: Laura Frederica Margaret (9) A girly-girl, Laura is very pretty and lady-like. She prefers to spend her time quietly reading in the sitting room. More resistent than George to playing baseball, only her fathers cajoling can get her to put down her books and engage in such an "unladylike endeavor".twin Girls: Sophia Elizabeth Georgiana (6) While a pretty girl, Sophia recently lost her two front teeth and is very self-conscious about her smile. She thinks she looks like an "old hag". She worships her brother, Edgar, and follows him everywhere (much to his vexation) begging him to play "the best game ever" with her-- baseball. He often obliges. Penelope Isabella Francis (6) Dark haired while her non-identical twin is blonde, she prefers the company of her older sister, Anna Catherine. Nellie, wants desperately to be taken fishing, but her sister keeps putting her off, feeling it's far to dangerous for one so young to be near the river. Nellie begs her saying she wishes to rescue any small animal that may need tending by her and father. Since her twin lost her front teeth, she has teased her mercilessly about looking like an old hag. Reducing her sister to tears on more than one occasion. She has been punished for it several times.DS: Reginald Christopher Stanley (3) Finally a "big boy", Reggie can leave the nursury in the company of his siblings. His big brown eyes and round cheeks give him a cherubic appearance. As the baby, his brothers and sisters can't say no to him. Outdoors, he runs around them yelling,"Bayball! Bayball!". Proving to be a better recruiter for a game than Edgar
*Edited to put the 'd' in Godfrey.
