CAF (not judged and kinda long)
Okay, what would you name the members of these five families? You can choose the number of children and if any are twins/triplets etc.1) The Drew family of Islington, North London. The mother is an artist and the father salvages architectural features from houses. They have an average number of children who, like most siblings, bicker and tease and are alternately companionable or querulous. One of them has inherited their mother's artistic talent. The whole family is keen on boats and the sea, and they spend their summer holidays on the Cornish coast.2) The Stanton family of Buckinghamshire, South England. The father runs a small Jeweller's Shop in the nearby town and the mother, who has generations of Buckinghamshire farmers behind her, looks after a motely array of chickens and rabbits as well as keeping the house and her large brood of children in line. Living in a small village, their life is peaceful for the most part and what most would describe as idyllic.3) The Evans family of North Wales. The mother is a cousin of the Stanton matriarch and it's one of the more romantic legends in the family of how she came to Wales for a holiday and ended up falling in love with a Welsh farmer. Life isn't easy at times running a 21st century farm. Diversifying into multiple businesses and looking after a mountain of farming paperwork means the children sometimes have to fit in around it all.4) The Davies family of North Wales. The father is a farmhand who works on the Evanses Farm and has coped well with raising his child(ren) despite his wife leaving him not long after the (first) child was born. He's not the most affectionate of men however and though he is a firm believer in nurturing independence he's sometimes needlessly strict and has high, perhaps too high, expectations.5) The Field family of South Carolina, USA. They live in a small, two-story, white Victorian house with gables and green trim in a largish town with a town square lined with expensive specialty shops, an ice cream parlor and a park next to a river that leads to the small thundering waterfall. The father's untimely death has left them all very shaken but though they will never forget him things are starting to get back to normal.Hehe, that was fun to write. Hope you have as much fun coming up with the names!
