Please read the whole post before playing, so you understand all of the rules. Otherwise you might get confused. Thank you!
This is a new game that I've created. I was trying to figure out a different way to play Congrats and came up with this. I hope it's not a total flop that you all consider to be a stupid game. *crossing fingers* If it is, well, I tried. Okay... This is kind of like a mix of Congrats and Adoption Agency. I will try to explain the rules as clearly as possible, but feel free to ask any questions if you don't understand anything. There will be five rounds for this game (not counting sign-up). It may take some time on your part to finish this sign-up round (and to actually read the post and understand it, lol), but I hope that won't stop you from playing.
First you will fill out a sign-up sheet with information (their names, ages, general description, etc...) about a husband, wife and their children, if they have any. Then you will submit
5 adoption forms.
Each adoption form equals either a single child, a sibset with a max of three children, multipes with a max of triplets, a pregnant teenage mother with a max of twins, or a teenage mother with a max of two children. After everyone submits five adoption forms each, I will make a list of all of the submitted forms. You will not necessarily end up adopting the children you submitted, because I will scramble all of the forms together and list them so anyone can adopt any child.
The object of this game is to adopt a child(ren) each round (either a single child, a sibset, multiples, a pregnant teen, or a teenage mother with her children). After everyone signs up and submits their forms, I will make a list of the children. From this list of adoptable children, you will chose the five forms of children that you would most like to adopt. List them in order from the ones you want most to the ones you want least. Just write their names next to each number when making the list. (i.e. 1-Jia
Mei Yung 2-Lydia,
Jamison &
Finlay Hamilton etc...) All sibsets, multiples, and teenage mothers with their children will be adopted together. Which means no siblings will be separated from each other, and no mothers will be separated from their children, etc...
First come, first serve is the idea for this game. So the quicker you reply, the more likely you are to get number 1 or 2 on your list. If number one on your list is already adopted, you will get number two. If number two is already adopted, you will get number three and so on and so forth. I will reply back to each person telling them which child(ren) they get to adopt each round. Once the child(ren) is adopted, you will have the choice to rename them or to keep their current name. If you are renaming them, reply back to me saying so, so I can make note of it on your final families. Also, I will not list the final families until all five rounds are completed; otherwise it would take up too much room on the original post. I will also update the list of adoptable children to note which children are already adopted. I don’t want you to waste space on your list of five with children that are already adopted. I will try to update the post as often as possible for your convenience, though I may not be able to do so that often on certain days. I
will try though.
This pre-round (sign-up round) will take the longest for you to fill out. After this round, you will just have to choose which children you would like to adopt and pick new names for them if you would like to change their names. So, if you can make it through this round, the game will run much quicker and much smoother on your part. I will still have a lot of work to do, but you won’t. LOL.
I will list examples of everything I just explained at the end of this post to help better explain what you need to do.
You can join at any time but, if you do, you must submit 5 adoption forms.

General description of them all: (Hair color and eye color)

NOTE: The choices are a single child, sibsets with a max of three siblings, multiples with a max of triplets, pregnant teens with a max of twins, and teen moms with their children with a max of two children.
You may have to fill out the following form a lot of times. For a sibset of three, you'll have to fill the following form out three times but it only counts as filling out one adoption form. For multiples, you'll have to fill the form out two times for twins or three times for triplets, but they count as filling out one adoption form. For teen mothers and their child(ren) you will have to fill out the form two or three times (depending on how many children she has), but it only counts as filling out one adoption form. You must fill out 5 adoption forms.
So this is what I just explained in simplified terms...
Single Child = 1 Adoption form
Sibset forms added together(max of 3 children) = 1 Adoption form
Multiples forms added together(max of triplets) = 1 Adoption form
Pregnant Teen & her unborn child(ren)(max of twins) = 1 Adoption form
Teen mother & her children added together(max of 2 children) = 1 Adoption form
Here is the adoption form that you need to fill out for each child...

STEP TWO (fill out five adoption forms) I've listed one of each type, but you could, for example, choose to fill out forms for three single children and two groups of multiples instead of one of each type. It is your choice on which types you would like to use and how many of each. The only rule is that you must have no more or no less than 5 adoption forms filled out in the end (but remember that siblings and multiples and teen mother + children will have more than one form filled out each. They equal one adoption form when put together).
