Dear Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and children, We are happy to inform you that your application was successful in meeting KAA standards, and we have just the children for you!
We, the Board of Trustees, are always glad when a parent is able to consistantly remain home with the child(red). We also are fond of older dogs around the KAA children, as we've observed a calmness that canines over the age of, abouts, four years have around children. Obviousaly, we are quite happy with your situation and willingness to adopt. The children that we have matched to your family are siblings; Delaney Faith is eleven monthes older than her brother Dylan William. So, at ages two and almost-one, Della and Dyll have stolen the hearts of all of our staff here at KAA. Their parents, both only children, died in a fire, trying saving Delaney and Dylan. And as they had no family, they were taken into our agency. That was just two monthes ago. And, while they sometimes get sad or pensive, they are rather happy and playfully cheerful 24/7, and have coped remarkebly.
We have enjoyed these two angels, and we hope and expect that your family will also. Thank you, Sincerely,

KAA Board of Trustees

Dear KAA Board of Trustees: Laurie and I want to give you a six-month update on Della and Dyll, the siblings we adopted from the KAA. Both children are doing very well and have adjusted surprisingly well to their new life. Adam and Noah love their little brother and sister and are always spoiling them by giving them tons of cheerios or applesauce. Adam tried a peppermint once, but luckily Laurie caught him in time. Della is an active two and a half year old. Laurie and I love to lavish attention on our little daughter. Dyll is a year and a half old and he has already started running around and tearing up the house. However, I've raised two other boys his age and I know how to deal with him. Our Greyhound, Lexie, wasn't too sure about Della and Dylan when they first arrived. She spent a lot of time sniffing them, but after about a week, she seemed to have accepted them and was busy licking crumbs off their face or rolling over to make them laugh. Adam and Noah want you to know that they are very happy with their little siblings and they are very glad you let us have Della and Dyll. Sincerely,
The Anderson Family
