Follow the Rules CAF, Round 1
The Beginning: 1972Parent1 (P1) and Parent2 (P2) are parents of two young children and have just moved to a new home, far from either of their families.LN: Your choiceP1 + P2: Your choice BUT can only have one shared letter (or no shared letters)Examples:Harold + Youko -> Har(o)ld + Y(o)uk(o) Matilda + Ann -> M(a)tild(a) + (A)nnChild1: FN must be in top 100 names of 1970, MN is optional but if you do choose one it must be related in some way to one of the parent's names. Example: Matilda and Ann's child could have MN of Maud since it's listed as a variant of Matilda. Using P1 or P2's names as a MN would also be acceptable.Child2: FN must start with P1's initial and end with P2's initial. Example: Harold and Youko's child could be Henry. MN is optional but if you do choose one it must be related in some way to one of the parent's names. Please feel free to add any explanations for why you chose your names or give the backstory of your family. That is one of my favorite parts of many CAF games. And keep an eye out for Round 2. There we will see what changes your family goes through during the rest of the decade.

DH: Per Johan Ahlstrand
DW: Kassia Léontine Ahlstrand nee Beauchamp
DS: Joel Pierre Ahlstand
DS: Patrick Jean AhlstrandPer & Kassia
Joel | PatrickPer and Kassia met whilst working in Paris. Kassia, now a teacher, was born and brought up beside Lake Annecy and moved to Paris to study. She loved the bustling, beautiful city so much that she stayed there after graduating, finding work teaching a kindergarten class. Per, a young archaeologist, was born in Malmö. His parents moved to Paris when he was 12, as his father is a diplomat. Per was given the opportunity to work on a site on Easter Island, where there appears to be evidence of an undiscovered settlement. Though daunted, Kassia agreed they would make the move despite a huge difference in culture. They have just moved into a small but comfortable home with large windows and stunning views, and are making the most of the few days they have to explore the island before Per's work begins. Kassia has her hands full with two young boys at home, but does hope to return to teaching in the future. Joel is a bubbly three-year-old, into everything and very excitable. Patrick is just two-months old. ETA: Forgot the children!

P1: Felix Wagner
P2: Astrid Wagner, nee. Larsson
C1: Sabine Wagner
C2: Felicia WagnerFelix Wagner comes from Heidelberg in Germany and Astrid Larsson comes from Lund in Sweden. Felix chose a popular German name for their first daughter, while Astrid wanted to combine their initials for their second, and chose a Swedish name that coincidentally matches the female version of her husband's name. He was very pleased.
