Sorry, I just meant that there were a lot of kind of sad developments throughout the game (i.e., Teddy's struggles with drink and the various familial fall-outs that came with said struggles; Marie-Louise finally getting out of her unhappy relationship with Teddy, only to end up having to take care of him [with Nicole] and neglecting her own health in the process; Kylo and Archer feeling neglected by their father after the birth of a new baby, etc.). These were realistic developments, but also kind of a bummer.

Hopefully it didn't affect your enjoyment too much. I find NTNBs where the families have ups and downs to be really interesting, but I can try to write a happier story next time.
