Now that Altan and Christian are a bit older, Rose-Marie has decided to return to work, but instead of diving back into photojournalism, she has chosen to pursue her passion for pottery by opening a pottery store. Rose-Marie, Johann and the rest of the Webers are becoming quite worried about her well-being, but when approached about it, Jules just lashes out, which has led to a strain in their relationships with her.
Another strained relationship in the family is between Altan and his father, Nadir. Altan still resents his father for leaving, especially when he visits and sees how close and present Nadir is in the lives of Aysel and Seher, in a way that he never was for Altan, even when he lived in the states.
DBF's FN is a more unique name that could be described as "edgy." His MN is a more common American name. His LN contains the letter X.

Although she initially resisted the idea, DGM eventually grew to appreciate the warmth and support of living with her loved ones, even if it meant sacrificing some of her cherished independence.
Madeline remains at the top of her class, excelling in advanced-level courses. However, she feels emotionally distant from her peers. Having skipped a grade, she finds herself surrounded by classmates who seem more eager to leave childhood behind, while Madeline herself feels no such urgency to embrace her teenage years.
Meanwhile, Cass continues to struggle in school. Diagnosed with dyslexia two years ago, Thaddeus and Etta have been doing everything they can to support her. Despite their efforts, it saddens them to see Cass work so hard only to face ongoing challenges.
Philippa, still an innocent little girl unaware of her sister's challenges, is simply happy to be included with her sisters and their friends. She also enjoys helping her father at the library.
