I just wanted to share some interesting facts with you
Oh, it's a relatively modern tradition:
Only Ashkenazi (European Jews) typically honor dead relatives unlike Mizrahi/Sephardi (Middle Eastern/Jews who were exiled from Spain during the medieval Era) Who usually name their children after living relatives
(Also, the reason why you did not about this fact is that most American Jews are Ashkenazi)
Additionally, my CAF takes place in Judea in the first century which is before the Jews were exiled from the Levant region (by the way the word Jew derives from Judea-Judah-Yehudah)
