The year is 2000, Emrys and Lilias' restaurant boomed and was incredibly successful for 25 years, their son Martyn took on responsibility as General Manager after finishing school. In the same way his parents met, Martyn met DW at the restaurant after she was employed as a bartender and the two hit it off immediately. They were engaged and married within a year, and the year after marrying they had their first child. After their two other children were born, Martyn found work as an environmental protection officer whilst DW found part time work as a receptionist. Emrys and Lilias continue to manage and run the restaurant, though its success has dwindled over the last few years. The Devereux Family

Alistair made a number of great strides in his field and was offered a position at the University of Oxford, where he and his family relocated to in 1979. Guinevere has published a number of beloved children's stories, and has been writing a murder mystery series for some time but hasn't found a publisher yet. Although the move to Oxford was beneficial for most of the family, their eldest daughter Heather resented her father for making them move so far away from all her friends and family and fell in with the wrong crowd. She discovered she was pregnant at 16, though the father of her baby refused to support her or be involved in hers or the baby's life. Guinevere supported her daughter's decision to keep the baby, though Alistair pushed for her to get an abortion which only further put strain on their relationship. After her daughter was born, Heather turned her life around and focused all of her efforts on giving her daughter the best life possible, and found work as a travel agent in Bristol. There she met DH, a school teacher, and they married and had DS. Heather no longer speaks to her father, believing his pride in his family name and continuing hatred for the Devereuxs despite not having seen them for 30 years is wasted energy, causing strain on the family as a whole. Phoebe tried to remain close to her sister and studied Nursing at the University of Bristol, where she met her DH who studied Economics. She struggled to find work in Bristol and so moved back to Oxford where she married DH and gave birth to their twin sons. The Sinclair Family
