Abdel Habib (31) is Arthur's roommate and chess partner. He is a Coptic christian, originally from Alexandria, Egypt. He speaks arabic, and english with a heavy arabic accent. He emigrated to the US for university, and decided to stay there. He knew backgammon from his time in egypt, and learned chess in the US. He works as a cook in the Abdulaziz & Sons arabic restaurant, and studies biology in his free time.
