The Filippou-Scaura Family

Thisbe and Artoria met in Rome as teenagers, but were scorned by their deeply religious families. They decided to move to New Orleans for a fresh start, where they were married. Now, they're adopting their first child: a little girl from a local orphanage.

Blessed and Marianthe met in college at the University of California Los Angeles. Blessed is Malawian and came to UCLA to study music industry. Marianthe is from San Francisco and is studying classics. They've been dating since sophomore year, and now that they're about to graduate, they've decided to move in together and adopt a cat!

Thayer and Daisy Serfass were a very happy couple, who had been married for seven years before they were finally able to have a baby. Unfortuantely, Daisy died in childbirth, leaving Thayer alone to raise their newborn son. Though scared, he's determined to raise his son in a way his late wife would approve of.
