3) Metéora Monasteries
- ou need to climb up several flights of stone steps carved into the rocks to reach each monastery, and inside, you'll find flickering candles, religious icons, Byzantine frescoes, and burning incense.
4) Samaria Gorge
- On the island of Crete, the Samaria Gorge is a top attraction for lovers of the great outdoors. it will take five to seven hours to walk.
5) Navagio, Zakynthos
- Navagio Beach, or Shipwreck Beach, is an exposed cove, sometimes referred to as "Smugglers Cove", on the coast of Zakynthos
6) Minoan Palace of Knossos
- Knossos is known for being Europe's oldest city. According to Greek mythology, the famous architect Daedalus designed the palace with such complexity that none of those who entered could find the way out. I believe also the home of the Minotaurus.
7) Petaloudes, the Valley of the Butterflies
- A unique nature reserve is to be found inland on Rhodes Island. The Valley of the Butterflies, known worldwide as a summer place of stay in Rhodes for millions of butterflies during June and September.
8) Elafonissi Beach
- A small uninhabited island in Crete, the beach is particularly known for its pink shimmering sand and crystal clear turquoise water. It has consistently been ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
