Ishild's NTNB - round (4/15)
Thank you for all the names you have submitted last round, so many amazing ideas. We are now moving 15 years.
As the family is getting bigger and bigger I'd like to hear what works better for you, having the naming instructions at the bottom as they are at this moment, or placing them after each family unit that has new members to be named. Leave me a short comment please. As always feel free to join the game at any time, next round will be up on Monday. :)Year 1965The Blackwell family

Walter has celebrated his eighty-third birthday this year and sadly had to bury his bellowed second wife Nellie shortly after. He is still alert and has a clear mind helping around the farm as much as his aging body allows him to. The main responsibilities though lay on Alvin’s shoulders as well as Pip’s who will one day take over the farm from his grandfather and uncle.Despite Nellie’s recent death there were many happy occasions celebrated on the farm in the past few years as Velma has married off her three oldest daughters. First wedding was celebrated four years ago when Daisy married a son of their neighbor whom she has been engaged to for a year, they live at her husband’s farm just down the road and Velma is excited she can visit her oldest grandson and granddaughter any time she desires to as this will be quite an issue with her other grandchildren. Mamie has left the family farm already years earlier moving to town to live with her aunt's family while she studied to become a nurse. It was a set of many coincidences that resulted in her meeting and being introduced to a British diplomat in rural Minnesota, they were married barely three months later before the couple returned to Britain where they settled down and where their first daughter has been born this year. With the door open by Mamie, Tess followed in her sister’s footsteps and moved to the town as well, she studied and became a college teacher. She married her colleague, fellow teacher just a day after Mamie and the couple welcomed a son recently.Clyde’s second marriage was destined to fail from beginning on thanks to his nature and the circumstances that led to it. It was no wonder that by the time that Yannick turned ten Clyde and Lucie were divorced, their divorce leaving Clyde broke. Maybe it was a tough way to learn, but he finally got his act together. He left his job as lumberjack and instead took another job at woodworking plant in the same town where his ex-wife and son resided, building his life up from scratch for himself and especially for his son who meant the world to him. As they say good things come to those that wait, and for Clyde that good thing is his third wife whom he married four years ago and with whom he plans to grow gray and old.As their girls have been growing up Greta and Archie were getting at peace with the idea that soon their little girls will fly the nest and start life and families of their own. What they were not ready for thought was that their youngest Rachel will be the first one to go. Barely eighteen years old, she married the son of the mayor. A union that neither Archie nor Greta were going to say no to, especially when they saw how in love their youngest daughter has been with the young man and the way he was looking back at her. The couple has recently welcomed a daughter, Greta and Alvin’s first grandchild. After Geneva’s parents passed away Norman and Geneva fully took over the butcher shop, they are now planning to add deli section to it and serve their fresh meat products on the side. With Shirley and Jefferson slowly becoming all grown up they feel it’s time to pour all their energy and love into the shop, before first grandchildren will arrive.Mamie’s husband’s first and two middle names come from this list (https://www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2011/11/upright-elegance.html).
