Emma is enjoying having some more children around the house, since Drew and I couldn't have any more. The kids are still adjusting to us, six months after the adoption was finalised. Donald, 9, is a huge help with his younger siblings. He likes to take care of them more than anything and sometimes doesn't let us go near them. Eoghan, now six, really warmed up to Emma. He is thriving in his small first grade class and we hope he'll continue to do well. For Katriona, we are seeking medical help. Neither Drew nor I know anything about foetal Alcohol Syndrome, so we're hoping the doctors can give us more information. We enrolled Katriona in a HeadStart program that is sort of like Early Intervention. Since we already know she'll have learning difficulties, we want to give her as much help and support as possible.
