Julia DeWinters is an occupational therapist, while Jordan DeWinters is a minister in a Lutheran church. Both enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and biking. Julia's family lives in Dekalb, too, but Jordan's is in the southern edge of Illinois (and Illinois is long, lol).
They really desire children, but since they know that there are a lot of unloved kids out there, they would like to adopt rather than have biological children. They are both open to older children, minority or biracial children, and special needs children, because those are the groups that are most marginalized.

You might even provide a Heaven for them. We need You for that. Hell we can make for ourselves.

Congratulations!
Julia and Jordan, the Logan International Adoption Center is pleased to inform you that we have found you 6 children.
Carson James (C. J.)is a 2-year-old from our Chicago Center. C.J. is a healthy and happy boy, though he does have to use a special walker because he has cerebral palsy.
Olivia Rose (Livia), Susannah Elisabeth (Annabeth), Jordan Nathaniel (Danny), and Lucas Michael (Luke) are 5-year-old quadruplets from the Philadelphia Center. Their mother died of leukemia when they were two, and they were raised by their father, a police officer, and their paternal grandparents. Their father, unfortunately was killed in the line of duty 6 months ago, and the grandparents are too old to assume complete care of 4 young children. The four children are extremely close. They became closer to each other after their dad's death, rarely letting anyone inside their group now. We have been able to break this slightly, as we started art therapy with all four children.
Violet Sophia is an 8-year-old from Chicago. She's been shuffled around in foster homes since she was abandoned when she was 3. Violet has some abandonment issues, but gets along with younger children really well. She "adopted" C. J. as her little brother, so when we informed her that they were both being adopted by the same family, she was elated.
We are pleased to be able to place C. J, Livia, Annabeth, Danny, Luke, and Violet with you. We welcome any updates on their new lives.
