Oh, it most certainly isI live in Pennsylvania and it's at all the fairs. I've never tried it...but it's real

It was offered at the county fair where I am (god only knows why or who bought it)

I've never heard of it before either. It sounds like something that was offered at a state fair one year as a gimmicky I-can't-believe-that's-real sort of thing and now lives on in urban legend.

Deep-fried Mars bars are yummy!I think it’s a Scottish thing? A friend of mine once made a deep-fried chocolate bar cake.. Kit Kats, Mars, Yorkies .. you name it and it was in it.. so good! Just a killer to clean your fryer afterwards haha
