DH: Parents liked names that were popular at the time of his birth (DH is 35), but didn't use tryndee names.
DW: Parents liked very feminine names. Mother was of French extraction, and wanted to honour her heritage with at least one of her daughter's names.
For the children, the parents preferred using classic names and/or names from literature. The adopted kids were Russian babies, and the parents used Russian first names that are common in America or took American nns, and very Russian mns.
