Tobias passed away this year. Viktoria felt a small pang in her chest, but it was more made up of guilt at her relief than anything else. Viktoria and Josef will govern together as equals - unprecedented in Swedish history - due to the conflicting factors of gender and nationality. However, when the Furste Salomon takes the throne, he will be the sole leader, regardless of his marital situation. The people are slightly wary of this very progressive decision, but the royal family is still overall very popular. Behind closed doors, Viktoria became pregnant again this year, but unfortunately miscarried.
