Kyle and I were happy to announce the birth of our new daughter, Lillian Emma Richey on April 18, 2006. She has Blue eyes and brown hair. I think she looks like Kyle but everyone else says she looks like me. Lily sleeps well through the night and eats well. Being a mother is so rewarding but hard work no doubt. Madeline, or "Maddie", is very energetic. but she sleeps well. she is up all day so her energy goes way down and she is ready for bed by 5 or 6 o' clock. we got to the park alot! i love jogging and have bought a jogging stroller so i can take her with. Kevin and i just finished her nursery! its in a theme of "the secret garden" with greens and yellows.
having Maddie is such a joy in our lives and we cant wait to have more children!

Just after we had settled into our new house, Jack and I discovered that we were expecting! We weren't really planning having kids yet, but now we wouldn't trade being parents for anything. Our daughter, Emma Isabelle, arrived a week ago. Jack's family is especially excited, seeing as how Emma is the first grandchild on his side.
We hardly had any trouble picking out names. Luckily, Jack and I both have similiar tastes, so he just gave me a list of names he liked and let me choose from there. Obviously, we picked well, because Emma suits her perfectly.
It is a bit difficult settling into a new routine, but fortunately Emma is the perfect baby. She loves sleeping, so I don't often have to get up in the middle of the night to sit with her. She hardly ever cries; she seems more content to just lay in our arms and stare at us. Jack and I feel so blessed to have Emma with us.

What a year! Andrew and I were so very ecstatic to find out that we were expecting our first child last July. Everything was great- I had no complications before the birth, except if you count being completely spoiled, and being unable to walk without looking like a duck! Both my parents and Andrew's were so happy, being their first grandchild. Another one, mama being Andrew's sister, is arriving in December.
When baby was finally born, Andrew and I were giddy to find that we had a daughter! We had decided to have the first child's gender to be a surprise, and we were definetly surprised! Both Andrew and I were just so sure it was going to be a boy. Luckily, we didn't buy any boy clothes, but we did sort of 'not pick' a girls name. So, when our daughter was born, Andrew made a list of 50 girls names, and I chose from that. I really do love and adore the name I decided on- Juliet! Juliet Christine James was born completely healthy on April 28, at 6:05 pm, weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces.
Juliet is a happy baby, and growing fast! She sleeps extremely well, I can take her just about anywhere in her sling, and she'll fall fast asleep. When she is awake, she's smiling and giggling, very cheerful. Her only drawback is food- she's a bit of a finicky eater, it's like she's teasing Mama and Daddy- "I'm not going to eat! What are you going to do about it?" Fortunetly, though the eating unsurity can be frusturating, she's healthy and happy, and we love her very much! We can't wait to see Juliet grow up, and have more children.

Luke and I are proud to announce the arrival of our first child, a beautiful baby girl! Elisabeth Grace came into the world on September 21st, weighing 6 pounds, 4 ounces; 18 3/4 inches long. I was thrilled to find Elisabeth & Grace both on the list since they've been favorites of mine for a long time, especially this particular spelling of Elisabeth.
Elisabeth is the first grandchild on my side of the family and the first granddaughter on Luke's side, so you can imagine that she is a pretty spoiled little girl. She has a wonderful personality and is such a happy baby. Luke has nicknamed her "Sunshine" because she always seems to have a smile on her face, even when she wakes up. She hardly ever cries and is known to love being held and played with.
Aside from Luke calling her Sunshine, Elisabeth has also earned a number of other nicknames from various family members, everything from Princess to plays on her name...Ellie, Ella, & Ellie Grace. There's no doubt that everyone is in love with her, so she's constantly in the center of attention. I'm loving every minute of it all, but as mommy, I love to have my own time with my baby girl. She's such a precious little miracle, and Luke and I both feel extremely blessed to call her our daughter.

Her name is Ella Camille Piquet! The middle name partially comes because it's her mother's name, and we both like naming the middle name after a parent.
We are so estatic! She is beautiful and very mild-tempered, like her mother was as a baby. She is a very little baby, (5 pounds 3 oz. at birth, just a little more than her mother did) but very happy and fairly quiet.
We think that if we get another little girl we will name her Juliet because that was one of our top picks for Ella.

Baby #1!
Around three months into moving into their new flat, Ray and Daisy were pleased to discover that they were expecting their first child. There was some minor disappointment when Daisy took maternity leave - they were still in the middle of production with The Getaway III, and she was missing out. She didn't mind too much, though, and is planning to go back after she's recovered from the birth.
Ray wouldn't let Daisy name the baby Lara, Yasmin, Zanthia or Natla, but he finally agreed to Sofia, after Tomb Raider III boss Sophia Lee. They choose Violet as a first name, after Ray's great-aunt, and also to carry on the flower-name theme.
Violet was finally born after an exhausting 25 hour labour. She weighed 6lbs 8oz, and has brown hair, a little lighter than her father's, and blue eyes like her grandmother.

Wow, I can't believe I have a daughter. Christopher and I decided to have a child and it wasn't long before I was pregnant, however the closer it got to when the baby was expected the slowly time seemed to travel. It seemed I was never not achy and I couldn't put on my own shoes without incredible contortions. Then there were the nights when I could never sleep because Sophia wanted to play around, kicking and wriggling. Christopher couldn't have been better though. He never complained about having to help me to all the various things I could no longer accomplish on my own and was just an enthusiastic about getting the den/office room ready for it's new occupant. The reason we were using the den instead of an actual bed room was that all the bedrooms save for ours were upstairs and we didn't want Sophia that far away, especially when we would have to get up in the middle of the night to feed or change Sophia.
I feel awesome now that I can finally put on my own shoes again! I can also start wearing my old clothes though they are a bit tighter. And Sophia is absolutely adorable. She has brown hair and brown eyes and she resembles me a lot. Christopher says we should have named her mini-rose which is how she got her nn "Rose" which changed quickly to "Rosie" as "Rose" is what Christopher always calls me.
