Prince Franklin is the third child of King Dennis III and Queen Marilyn. His brother, Prince John Dennis Victor, is the heir to the throne, while his sister, Princess Sophia Marilyn Ruth, is betrothed to a royal living in Obrain. Prince Franklin had not served in the military or in any other social works.
Countess Eleanore is six years older than her new spouse. She had been previously married to the Count of Gemborg, Michael, but the man had been assassinated by an enemy two years prior. They had no children between them. She is the daughter of Sir Alvin Matthews, a politician who had been knighted by King Dennis III for his work, while her mother, Deborah, was once a socialite before she married her husband. She only has one sibling, a younger sister named Annabelle.
This marriage was not arranged, but the two were pressured by their relatives to meet and attempt to court each other. It was not an easy process; Franklin was impetuous and immature, while Eleanore was easily annoyed by anything her beau did. Nonetheless, the two agreed to marry at the insistence of kin after spending only two years together.
At the bride's request, the wedding was a private affair. Eleanore wore the same wedding dress she had worn for her wedding to Michael, with a few modifications. Only family and a few friends were permitted to attend.
