Re: Alex v's Adoption Agency
Welcome India, Alfie, Maci and Arlo the hamster! Welcome India! She is 7 years old. She and her brother almost died when a train exploded and burned. They also had an older brother, Moses, but he died along with his parents. India had burns on around 50 percent of her body, and she still has nightmares with that accident! She is vary curious and shy. After her parent's accident, she started being afraid of fire.
She loves sports and I think she will have a lot of fun jogging with her new daddy!
India's only brother left, Alfie, seems to be the most traumatized. He is 6. After the train accident, he never was the same. He is shy and antisocial, and needs special attention. At the accident, he had burns on 25 percent of his body!
Maci is only 3. She didn't have burns on her body in that accident, and she does not understand that her parents are gone forever. Unlike her siblings, she is the only one who is happy and has a very active social life. She loves nature and playing with superheroes or other kids.
Arlo is a hamster. He was not in the middle of that disaster, he was at granny's home. He is very playful for a hamster.
Write mw back to find out how are they!

India "Indy", Alfie and Maci (And Arlo) have been with us for six months and we are pleased to report huge progress!India and Alfie - the painfully shy siblings are slowly coming out of their shell. We enrolled them at a very small primary school where they were placed into the same class in order to build their confidence and receive good pastoral support. The primary school offer many sports opportunities of which India has just started on the girls football team. Alfie is part of the school's nurture group for children flagged as struggling with their mental health, he enjoys painting and modelling to express himself and has become friends with an Autistic 8 year old boy named Luka. Alfie bonded with Kipper immediately, Kipper can sense when Alfie is uneasy or getting stressed and his calm presence soothes him endlessly - on some difficult days the school allows Alfie to take Kipper in for a few hours. We make sure that India and Alfie get to spend 1-on-1 time with us to build up a special bond. India jogs every Sunday morning with James, while we enjoy special story time on Wednesday evenings. Alfie has visits from a CAMHs nurse on Saturday afternoons, we meet her in the local park as it's a neutral space and afterwards I take Alfie for a milkshake. Alfie has struggled to bond with James but slowly they are getting to know each other; currently they are enjoying cooking together.Maci Moo is glowing! She's been attending her siblings' school's nursery to build her social skills and loves going - at the moment she is there three days a week but as her fourth birthday approaches she is getting ready to join in their Reception class. Maci has become fast friends with Winnie and enjoys dressing her up as 'SuperDog' and playing games - she barely keeps still.
