The idea behind this NTNB is it will follow a number of families living in the same street over so many years. Every "round" the same number of years will have passed for each family and we will see how they've changed.

Josh and Liv are very excited to be expecting their first baby but they want to leave the gender a surprise so are looking for a combo for each gender. They have very specific naming instructions: the baby's first name must lead to a one-syllable nickname and their middle name should be a variation of Reilly.

River and Daniel have decided to go through the process of adopting children!! But while they wait out the lengthy process, they have adopted a puppy from a local shelter. The young female dog is a Labrador-Dalmatian cross with bundles of energy; the men want a name feminine name that reflects the "fizz" of their newest arrival.

Piotr's mother has come over from Poland to stay with the Bukowski's for the foreseeable future. Ophelia loves having her Ma around and Alice is grateful for the extra help although. G'ma's names are all Polish and not as English-speaking friendly as Piotr's; Alice has been desperately trying to find a somewhat easier nickname for her mother-in-law.

Logan is happily living a gender-neutral life with Jocky but has recently met a very special lady. The two have decided to make a go of things; their first name has been popular in America but has struggled to catch on in England while their middle name and surname reflect Hawaiian heritage. They're also bringing a cat into the relationship - which Jocky doesn't quite know what to make of! She is named after a mythological figure.
