HelpKB's Enormous Multi-Generational Congrats Round 5
What's going on: Instead of creating something new, I dug into the archives and found one that looked cool. All the rounds will be based on B's Multi-Round Multi-Generational CAF from 2010 (link to the original's last round): http://www.behindthename.com/bb/game/3786217) All credit goes to B for actually writing the darn thing.
This congrats will be KUY (keep up yourself) style, where you copy your family over from the last round each round, because otherwise my posts will get scary long. This also means that you can sign up whenever you want and catch up your missed rounds whenever you want!

Gen and Teemu have decided not to have any further biological children, but have decided to adopt after one of Teemu's fellow professors adopted a daughter from China. They adopted their twin daughters from India. They both have one Indian name and one Finnish name. They kept Indira's Indian first name, but thought it would be cute if Inkeri had a name which began with I too, so her Indian first name got bumped to middle name. They both have four letter middle names as another twin-name theme. The girls where only 11 months old when adopted, so changing their names was quite easy. Genevieve was worried about how they'd settle down, but they've done well.
Matthias headed back to London and whilst working there met an Italian-English woman named Despina Sgro. Despite initially disliking each other, they found they actually had a lot in common, became friends and then started dating. "Dizzy", as she's known, plays the violin in an orchastra in her spare time, and likes seaside holidays, unusual music, classical music and ice-skating. They married shortly after a pregnancy scare, but as of yet, there's no baby on the scene.

Lucy and Terry are getting up in years but really want to have a bigger family still. Since they're comfortable (thanks to Lucy's latest book series being a hit) they decided to adopt.
In 1982, the family welcomed two girls, fraternal twins, from China. There was some anxiety at first (other than Beth, she was just ecstatic) but everything has gone smoothly and they are completely part of the family.
Lucy originally wanted the girls to have Chinese first names, but Terry was deeply worried that they might have some issue in school. They decided on Iris and Ivy as they felt nature names went nicely with the Chinese middle names. Huan Yue means "happy and joyful" and Xiao Chen means "early morning".
At 18, Noelle decided to take a gap year to travel across Europe, when she was in the USSR she met Styopa. They fell in love and within 6 months of meeting they married. Terry and Lucy were flabbergasted, but all they can do is pray that things work out well. Styopa "seems a nice enough fellow anyway," according to Terry (followed by a quiet "I hope").
Noelle and Styopa are currently in Ann Arbor where Noelle is studying psychology and Styopa has a job as an X-ray technician and is waiting on the finalization of his citizenship.
(I cheated a bit with Styopa's MN, I used the random renamer and then altered that name into patronymic, just so it made sense. Also I obviously have no clue how naturalization works lol.)

Mark and Linda with Yasmin
Nate's sister Colleen and her husband Samuel passed away in a car crash in 1983, leaving behind twin girls Isabel and Irina. Nate and Arlene just finished officially adopting the girls.
In 1982, Mark got married to Linda Winstead, who he met at Penn. Linda just gave birth to their first daughter, Yasmin. The couple live in Philadelphia, but they plan to move to Cherry Hill, NJ when they can afford it.
Michele graduated from Indiana University in 1982 and is now working as an English teacher in Carmel, Indiana.
Chris is still working hard at school. He plans to go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and become a computer engineer.
Ian is proud to be a teenager. He's not a huge fan of his acne and cracking voice.
Julia and Liz are in 4th grade. So far, teachers love them and students love them. Their friends all wish they were twins. They're identical, so they have a lot of fun switching places and tricking people.
Nicholas's favorite color is red.
