Re: LaRe's KUY Royal Congrats: Round 2

Prince: Michele Rinieri Lorenzo
Wife: Caterina Maria Annunziata
DS: Pietro Cristofano [Tancredi] "Perotto"
DD: Giovanna Maria Elisabetta "Vanozza"
Of the illustrious Royal House of: Manco
In the City-State of: Salvi
A year and a half after Perotto's introduction to their family, Caterina gave birth to her and Michele's first child. After eight months of anxious waiting, most of which Caterina spent bed-ridden and swarmed by maids and physicians, the baby was born prematurely, small and red and frighteningly weak. Every chance he had, Michele slipped away from his study to attend to his ill wife and daughter, and even Perotto kept escaping his tutor to check on his Mamma.
It wasn't until both young Vanozza and Caterina had recovered that both Michele and Perotto finally could breathe free. Legitimacy not being as strong an issue as it would become in the upcoming centuries, nobody was truly worried that Michele would lack an heir should anything happen to him, but Michele was concerned how any future pregnancies would affect his wife's health.
Mutatis mutandis. Si non confectus, non reficiat.
