Well, Wanda wasn't an option because unlike Pietro, she had never been member of the X-Men, even as a very temporary resident of the mansion (which he was, once, I think). But that would have been perfect.

Ah, it is X-Men. I think my brain was just saying this was a list of mutants. Thus, Erik has twins, they must be his twins.
