I had this idea this morning while lying in bed (as you do), so I hope I explain it well.
Firstly go to this link:
http://www.randomlists.com/random-countryAnd click the refresh button to get two new countries, these are the countries your family's parents are from - if you're feeling adventurous you can change the number of countries to three or four.
Then roll this ten-sided dice for the number of children your couple have:
http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/ten.htmIf you get a really low number - say less than five - you can roll again and add the second number to your first.
Once you have the number of children, roll again for each child to determine their gender; odd is a boy / even is a girl.
Name your cross-culture family in accordance to the country they're from, feel free to include other details such as where they live, how they met, ages, appearances, and more!
