Just after Celia's first birthday, Aaron and Giuliana decided to make their union official and got hitched. It was on their honeymoon that they conceived their second child, and nine months later, Giuliana gave birth a baby boy - Niall George Hayden. He was born with blond hair and blue eyes, just like his daddy. Celia loves her new baby brother and is always willing to help with him. (She loves playing with baby dolls and now she has a real one!) Family life has been great. Celia attends a nursery school just a few blocks from Giuliana's work. Giuliana is now a lead designer for Michael Kors and Aaron is still playing with Arsenal.

Zara had just turned a year old when John got the news that he was being laid off. It was a difficult time for Gracie and John, but they stuck together and after almost six months of John being unemployed, and in the process finding out they were pregnant again, John got a call about a job several states over, near Gracie's parents (who wanted to help them out) and they made the decision to move their fast-growing family.
It was the winter months in their new home, snow on the ground, and Gracie was 8 1/2 months pregnant, but still running/waddling around in the garden with their active 2 year old Zara, while John was inside grading papers. He could hear his two little women laughing through the window, when all of a sudden, he hears a scream, and it isn't little Zara's playful scream. John rushes outside to see Gracie laying on the ground on her back. She slipped on the ice that had been covered by snow, and hit her head. Gracie insists she is fine, but John takes her to the hospital anyway. On the way there, Gracie feels slight contractions. She is worried but stays as calm as she can, instead focusing on Zara and keeping her entertained in the backseat on the long car ride.
When they get to the hospital, they discover that Gracie has had a mild concussion, and on top of that, it appears that the fall sent her into labour! Gracie is watched closely throughout and after the labour process, but little Alex Balthazar is safely delivered, and is a happy, healthy baby boy.

The two years following Rémi's birth have been somewhat eventful for the Zhou-Williams family. Rémi was a very fussy baby with completely out of whack sleeping schedules, and when his teeth started to pop out he turned into the bite monster! Kathleen and Tucker were desperate from sleep deprivation by then, so much that they didn't even notice their home had a new inhabitant: a puppy had managed to sneak in and sleep in the kitchen for weeks before they noticed it - or rather, before Rémi directed their attention to it when he tried to hug the puppy as if it were a plush doll. Tucker and Kathleen thought their son could use a four-legged playmate, and so the newly-adopted Quincy the puppy was formally welcomed into the family. He and Rémi get on like a house on fire and are completely inseparable, to the point of sharing each other's food!
Professionally, things took a turn for the worse, with Tucker having been laid off. He's pretty sure it had to do with his rheumatoid arthritis, but without any proof, he couldn't file a complaint against the hotel. Fortunately, Kathleen real estate business was able to provide for their family the entire time Tucker was out of a job. To keep himself busy, Tucker started crafting money purses out of coconut shells and selling them to tourists, and, surprisingly, he was able to make a little bit of extra income on that. However, those hard days seem to have just become a thing of the past, as he was very recently hired by a private expatriate gym to give yoga and meditation lessons there.

Tobias has grown rapidly into a fun-loving, curious little toddler who is doted on by his parents, grand parents, aunties and uncles. He loves the attention and isn't sure about the prospect of having a younger sibling. When Abbey goes naturally into labour - which is a relief after Tobias - things progress quicker than expected and little Rosie makes an appearance into the world, not in a hospital, but in... A country pub! Abbey and Jack were taking a taxi to the hospital with Jack not having a car and other family members at work, still 8 miles from the nearest hospital, Abbey demanded they pull over into the nearest building car park - which just happened to be a public house. The owners there took care of Abbey in the back room while Jack was talked through the process by a professional on the phone. Mother and baby were absolutely fine! Rose weighed 7lb 2oz and paramedics arrived exactly 6 mins after the birth.

He loves the attention and isn't sure about the prospect of having a younger sibling. When Abbey goes naturally into labour - which is a relief after Tobias - things progress quicker than expected and little Rosie makes an appearance into the world, not in a hospital, but in... A country pub! Abbey and Jack were taking a taxi to the hospital with Jack not having a car and other family members at work, still 8 miles from the nearest hospital, Abbey demanded they pull over into the nearest building car park - which just happened to be a public house. The owners there took care of Abbey in the back room while Jack was talked through the process by a professional on the phone. Mother and baby were absolutely fine! Rose weighed 7lb 2oz and paramedics arrived exactly 6 mins after the birth.

They plan on putting him in T-ball next year, and any other sport he would like to try. He is really excited about having a new baby brother to play with. But of course, being so energetic, he's bound to have gotten some scrapes and bruises. Or something bigger... While running around the house, he decided to jump off the couch, and unfortunately, landed wrong. He ended up breaking his leg and staying in the hospital for a week, because he couldn't walk. Ezra's father, William, dies by heart attack. It was completely unforeseen, since the man was very healthy. Ezra opts to stay at home with Jenna and Hugo, grieving over not only his father but also his late sister, even though she passed away two years ago. He falls into a state of depression and one night, when Devon comes home, he finds Ezra standing over Hugo's bed, crying and hugging their son very close. Ezra feels guilty and selfish for having Hugo and - in his mind - killing his sister that way. Devon sends their children to live with his brother Peter for a while, and stays home himself to take care of his partner.

Ben moved out right after Maya's birthday, electing to find an apartment in a nearby neighborhood. Although he and his brother aren't close, he has come to adore his niece and wants to be nearer. Aaron and Juliet are just grateful for the free babysitting. The couple had planned to wed after Maya's second birthday, but when Juliet found out she was pregnant again just a few weeks before they officially set a date, the couple decided to take the hint and hold off the wedding until Daniel was a year old. Otherwise, not much has changed.
Juliet and Aaron were a little more prepared this time around for the pregnancy. They figured that Maya and her new baby sibling can share a room for the next three years or so. This means that they could get married in a year and move the year after. No rush, no fuss, right?
When Juliet was about 33 weeks pregnant, well into her second trimester, she fell down the stairs at home. In her fall she managed to hurt her back and sprain her ankle, but fortunately neither she nor the baby suffered other damages.
Juliet's father, John, spend a week in the hospital, following a mild heart attack. It was fortunately not serious enough to be fatal, and with some changes to his diet and lifestyle, he will hopefully make a full recovery.
