YEAR 1 - 1/4
Reina's Uncle Matthias--Reina was his favorite niece--passed away. When he passed away, he left a HUGE amount of money to Reina, since he had no kids of his own. Reina is very touched and very happy. She certainly was not expecting this.

Reina decides she wants to go back to school. So she starts taking night classes. Having always been interested but pressured not to go into it, she decides to take an acting class. She learns much more than she expected--such as how to project her voice better, how to warm up for theatrical performances, how to do stage makeup, and plenty more! In all, Reina certainly isn't regretting her decision to go back to school.

Oh my gosh! Reina's had a baby! A baby girl. They've named her Brigitte Grace. She looks so much like her daddy--she even has his hair and eyes! Reina can't help but smile whenever she sees little Gitta.

For Christmas, Aaron adopted a little puppy for Reina and Gitta. He presented it to them on Christmas day, all wrapped in a big Christmassy bow. Reina couldn't help but squeal. Aaron had to take Gitta from her so she wouldn't drop the poor baby.

In one of Aaron's classes, he has a guest speaker. This speaker, from Ethiopia, talks about how things have been bad in his country for so long. He even brought a little child along with him as an example. The child--a four-year-old little girl--was an orphan with no family, no home, no food, no clothes. The child, he told the class, would go right back home to Ethiopia, where she would resume her usual schedule. But Aaron and Reina wouldn't let that happen. They decided to adopt the little girl. Her original name--Akinyi Ayodele--became two middle names, with her first name being Cecily. Cece, as she is called, is very happy in her new home.
YEAR 2 - 2/4
Aaron's family lives in Canada, while he lives in Michigan. It's a quick trip up, so they decide to go up there for his birthday. They have a big party up in Canada with his family. Some of his family get to see Gitta for the first time. All of them get to meet Cece for the first time. All in all, it's a grand time.

Aaron buys a pet for Cece as a birthday present. He takes Cece out on a special "Daddy-Daughter" day. Their first stop is the pet store. Cece's first choice was a puppy. When they buy the little guy, she names him exactly that--Guy.

A baby shows up on their doorstep on Christmas Eve. After coming home from the Christmas Eve Family Mass at the local Catholic church, they find a little boy wrapped up tightly on their doorstep. Reina gasps and scoops him up. There's a letter. It tells them that he is two months old, that his mother can't take care of him anymore, and that his name is Afanasiy Benedikt. It's an obviously Russian name. On the note, it also says that his mother is a run-away from Russia--a young teenage girl who didn't want her parents to know she was going to be a mother, so she ran away instead. Aaron and Reina look at each other. They know exactly what to do. They adopt the baby, renaming him Athanasius Benedikt.
YEAR 3 - 1/4
A three-year-old boy is seen wandering around town, glum, grim, and alone. Reina asks him where he's from but he doesn't know English--except for a few basic words. He tells them his name is Calixto Domingo. He tells them that he came here from Columbia with his parents. And that his parents died. They learned this when they had a translator. Aaron and Reina decide to adopt this little guy, too. So they rename him Dominic Calixto.
YEAR 3 - 2/4
Reina's best friend is getting married!!!!!!!!! She lives in Turkey, where Reina was born and grew up, so they take the family over to Turkey for Reina's friend's wedding. Reina and her friend have a nice long talk afterwards, greatly enjoying themselves.

After Reina's friend's wedding, Reina and Aaron spend some time travelling around Europe. They see some things they find very intriguing. They take lots and lots of pictures. It's certainly a time to remember.

For Christmas, Reina and Aaron go down to Mexico to help out. It's something they've always wanted to do, and now they've finally done it. They have a lot of fun working at the orphanage and helping out.

Ailin Mu is a six-year-old Chinese girl without a home or a family. Her parents died shortly after they moved to Michigan. She is an only child. She has nowhere to go. One day, she meets Reina on the road. Reina talks with the little girl and they become friends. Reina brings up the topic of the little girl one evening. They decide to adopt her. They rename her Ashlynn Mu.
YEAR 4 - 2/4
Reina, after trying for another baby for a couple of years, has finally given birth to another child--a baby boy. He, like Gitta, looks exactly like his daddy. It's almost scary how close they look! Kevin Hezekiah is his name.

Right after Kevin was born, Reina got pregnant again! And she gave birth to a very, very premature little boy. He looks a lot like Reina--just with brown hair instead of red. Anthony David is being taken care of in the NICU. Reina and Aaron can only pray he lives.

Right after Anthony was born, Reina got pregnant again. And again she gave birth to a very, very premature little one. This time, a girl. She looks a lot like her daddy--except she has her Aunt Tammy's hazel eyes. Hayley Bellona is her name.

Now that they have seven kids, the Kellys decide to move. They move to a bigger house where all the kids will have room to run and play. And they have all of their kids, too, since Anthony and Hayley are at home.

Aaron and Reina bring all their kids up to Canada. This is the first time his family has met Kevin, Anthony, and Hayley. Some even thought they were triplets! But that's certainly not so. Anthony and Hayley are miracle babies.

Aaron's grandfather dies. Aaron and Reina are left a small sum of his grandfather's money. They're happy with what they get.

For Reina's birthday, Aaron takes her to France. It's been one of Reina's dreams to visit France ever since she was a little girl. She'd never gotten to go until now. Aaron and Reina get their picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Dominic wants a bird. So Aaron takes him to get one. They pick out a good-sized parrot. Dominic names him Domingo.

Reina has received an award for her art! It's just a local award, but Reina is very happy. She received the reward for most realistic, most touching painting. She painted Kevin, Anthony, and Hayley together when they were all little babies.

Another little boy joins the large Kelly family. He has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. He looks a lot like his mother in facial expressions, but even more like his mother's sister Tiana. They named him Isaac Jude.

This year for Christmas, the Kellys go to Germany. They decided they wanted to learn a little about the culture's way of celebrating the holidays. So they travelled there to experience it themselves.

Georgia Rose, Helen Soraya, and Janice Zaniah are the girls; they have wavy red hair like their mother and green eyes like their grandmother. Gregory James and Josephus Keid are one set of identical twins; they have wavy red hair like their mother and green eyes like their grandmother, too. Henry Raphael and Kalvin Jamal are the other set of identical twins; they have wavy red hair like their mother and grey eyes like her, too.
