CAF w/ Instructions
Inspired by my current name obsession, the theme is all the names are of Hebrew origin or from the Tanakh (Jewish arrangement of the Old Testament)! Some instructions you may not be able to answer off the top of your head, so feel free to look things up (especially relevant to the instructions where I list 3 possible options—certainly not a comprehensive list). Oh, and clearly not all instructions are related to Judaism…I couldn’t think of enough, lol.DH: Avidan, Avishai, Avner, Avraham
If MN = Avidan, then fn = a common contemporary nickname (i.e. Josh, Matt, Mikey)
If MN = Avishai, then fn = a nickname common in your parents’ generation (i.e. Bob, Ricky, Tom)
If MN = Avner, then fn = a Russian nickname (i.e. Kolya, Misha, Slava)
If MN = Avraham, then fn = the name of a foreign language teacher (first or last)DW: Channah, Chava, Chaya, Chesed (CH pronounced like a heavy H)
If MN = Channah, then fn = a common contemporary nickname (i.e. Jen, Maddy, Ellie)
If MN = Chava, then fn = a nickname common in your parents’ generation (i.e. Deb, Patsy, Sue)
If MN = Chaya, then fn = a Russian nickname (i.e. Dasha, Natasha, Shura)
If MN = Chesed, then fn = your name in a foreign language class (if you didn’t use one, just do a version of your name/something similar in whatever foreign language you speak-or attempt to speak)DD: Adi, Atarah, Aviva, Ayelet
If MN = Adi, then fn begins with the first letter of your last name
If MN = Atarah, then fn begins with the first letter of the name of your crush/SO/best female friend
If MN = Aviva, then fn begins with the first letter of the name of your favorite woman
If MN = Ayelet, then fn begins with the first letter of the name of the last woman you know who diedDD: Dafna, Dvora, Dina, Dorit
If MN = Dafna, then fn = a feminization of an angel name (i.e. Gabrielle, M’Kaela, Raffaela)
If MN = Dvora, then fn = a name related to the word ‘angel’
If MN = Dina, then fn = a Jewish surname (i.e. Avital, Meir, Sharon)
If MN = Dorit, then fn = a Hebrew-ization (???) of a common name (i.e. AbigailàAvigail)DD: Zimra, Zivi, Zipporah, Zohar
If MN = Zimra, then fn = a Tanakh name currently in the top 100
If MN = Zivi, then fn = a Biblical heroine (i.e. Ruth, Naomi, Esther)
If MN = Zipporah, then fn = a “Biblical whore” (i.e. Delilah, Salomé, Jezebel)
If MN = Zohar, then fn = a Tanakh name in the top 100 in 1954DS: Haskel, Hillel, Hirsh, Hyman
If MN = Haskel, then fn begins with the first letter of your name
If MN = Hillel, then fn begins with the first letter of the name of your crush/SO/best male friend
If MN = Hirsh, then fn begins with the first letter of the name of your favorite man
